Subsea Control Systems Technician – Dyce, Aberdeen

J+S Subsea is seeking a Subsea Control Systems Technician to join its team based in Dyce.

This is a hands-on role supporting the build, testing and delivery of subsea control equipment used in critical offshore operations. The position is primarily workshop-based, with occasional offshore and overseas work as required.

Working as part of an experienced engineering team, you will be involved in the assembly, refurbishment and testing of subsea control systems, ensuring equipment meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assembly and testing of subsea control systems and associated equipment
  • Refurbishment, inspection and re-certification of legacy subsea assets
  • Fault finding, diagnostics and repair of control system components
  • Supporting system integration and testing activities
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in line with technical specifications and quality standards
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and records

Requirements

  • Experience working with subsea equipment or control systems
  • A practical, hands-on engineering background
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible approach to support offshore or overseas work when required
