Overview
This is a highly visible leadership role where you’ll work at the intersection of operations, business development and workforce development, helping to create innovative T&C solutions that strengthen competitive positioning and support successful project delivery worldwide.
You’ll lead the development and implementation of T&C frameworks that support international operations, ensuring workforce capability programmes are practical, scalable and aligned to both commercial and operational objectives.
The role also carries responsibility for leading an established team and managing relationships with training providers and external stakeholders globally.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver T&C strategies aligned to geographical growth plans.
- Create scalable workforce capability solutions to support market entry, mobilisation readiness and operational delivery.
- Support bid activity through the development of credible, commercially attractive capability and localisation solutions.
- Lead the design and implementation of adaptable competence frameworks across multiple regions.
- Identify capability gaps and workforce risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Manage and develop external training partnerships and delivery networks.
- Champion innovative and digital learning approaches to improve capability outcomes.
- Lead and develop a specialist T&C team.
- Ensure alignment between competence standards, training delivery and workforce readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned, operational feedback and business performance insights.
Ideal Applicants

You will ideally have:
- Experience leading training, competence or workforce capability programmes, locally and beyond.
- A strong understanding of competence management systems and frameworks.
- Knowledge of workforce development within the Energy, Engineering or Industrial sectors.
- Experience supporting bids, proposals or market-entry strategies.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how capability solutions support business growth.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to engage effectively with operational teams, business leaders, clients and external partners.
- Experience managing third-party training providers and delivery models.
- The ability to work across different cultures, priorities and international markets.
